About The Role

Bell is recruiting an enthusiastic and organised Residential Course Assistant to support in the smooth operation of our Young Learner programme this Summer. As a course assistant, you’ll work to support both students and staff, from administrative tasks, to assisting with activities and study tour excursions, you’ll be helping to deliver a high-quality course for our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Carry out general administration duties including photocopying and filing, working with electronic documents and spreadsheets, and manning the course office as required.
  • Resources Management: Assist with the unpacking and distribution of resources, and complete and maintain comprehensive stock and facilities status checks.
  • Activity Assistance: Support activity leaders and teachers during lessons, activities, and excursions, fostering a positive and inclusive environment, stepping into various roles when needed.
  • Residential Supervision: Monitor students during residential hours, ensuring house rules are followed and providing assistance as needed.
  • Safety and Wellbeing: Act as a responsible and approachable figure, responding to student needs and concerns, and escalating issues when necessary.

About You

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in administration, customer service, or working with young people is an advantage.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare at all times.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the varied nature of the role.
  • Willingness to live on-site for the duration of the Summer Explorer programme.
